What this site collects

A first-party count of page views and form views, with no cookies and no identifiers. If you request a sample, your email, company and what you sell are stored so the file can be sent and one follow-up can go out seven days later. A hash of your IP address is kept to rate-limit the form, and a hash of the email address (not the address) is kept for attempts that were refused. Records of refused attempts are kept for 30 days; sample subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Unsubscribing is one click on any email and stops everything, and emailing hello@territorybook.com gets any record deleted. The business that bills you for the paid file is Colder; Territory Book is the name it is moving to.

Where the data on this site comes from

Permit rows come from Wake County Environmental Services, Wake County building permits and City of Raleigh building permits, all public datasets, each row linked to its source in the file. Storefront rows come from loading a business's own public homepage and recording defects that appear on two independent loads. Only what the public record or the business's own site contains is included. No consumer data is bought or sold.

Accuracy

As accurate as the public record and the page at the time it was loaded. Open dates slip, sites get fixed, phones change. Verify before you rely on a row. The do-not-call rules apply to whoever places the call.
